Palm Beach Roadrunners presents the 20th Annual Run 4 the Pies – as a VIRTUAL race (for now).
Covid-19 is an unprecedented global public health issue and we must do our part to act responsibly and protect our runners, volunteers, spectators, sponsors, and staff. We would love to celebrate the 20th anniversary with you in person on Thanksgiving Day morning in Tequesta, FL, but in light of the current situation with Covid we have to explore other options. Given that this is such an important year in our history as the 20th running of the race, we are going to proceed with a virtual event and hope that everything improves so we can be live racing on Thanksgiving morning!
Therefore, when you sign up for the Virtual 20th Run 4 the Pies, you will be placed in the queue for the ability to upgrade to the live event if/whenever we announce that. In all transparency, if the race can be launched as a live event the Village of Tequesta may limit the field of runners. As you probably know, Run 4 the Pies sells out in a “normal year”. Should we be able to move forward with a live race, we will open slots to as many runners as we are allowed, based on their place in the queue. If you register for the virtual race you will see what place you are in the queue based on your assigned bib number. Should we be able to launch the live race, you will be notified by email and social media that you have 48 hours to upgrade. There will be no exceptions, as we will have to move on down the queue to any people that would want to upgrade to the live race. The upgrade fee will be based on how many runners we are able to entertain.
Regardless, we do know the 2020 virtual event will be special and you will get all the great swag, a pie for all runners (local pickup), and you will be benefiting a worthy charity – the Church of Good Shepherd’s Food pantry – on Thanksgiving.
We hope that you will sign up for the virtual event ASAP and we will all collectively cross our fingers for the situation to improve.

Run 4 miles at your own place at your own pace between November 25 to November 29. Submit your time for the distance to appear in the official results.
Your registration fee includes a fabulous finisher medal, a race tech shirt, a virtual race bib, finisher certificate and a pie (local pickup). These items will be available for pick up on November 25 from 3PM-6PM in Tequesta (additional days and/or extend hours TBD).
If you can’t come to the packet pick up, we will mail your packet for an additional fee to cover postage.

from 3PM to 6:00PM at the Parish Hall, Good Shepherd Church, 402 Seabrook Rd, Tequesta.
Picking up for more than 3 people? Please send us a list of all names to [email protected] by 6PM the day before pickup so we can prepare the packets in advance.

Add on shipping to your registration and your packet will be mailed to you in time for Thanksgiving Day (must add on shipping by 11/1/2020)
